Cheerio UK...

Evein' folks. Just sitting here enjoying a typical pleasant English evening with the cloudy skies and slight chilly breeze. I like the cool nights, but it's hard to remember it's actually summer! It's hard to imagine that if I were in the states right now I'd be on the beach sweating and soaking up the sun. Now I'm just curled up in a hoodie thankful for how God makes the world so different and special. Speaking of cold, I'm moving to Finland in 9 DAYS! As things are coming to a end here in Halesowen UK I'm left in a bit of a frenzy. Yet I am too ready/stoked to let the packing or tying up loose ends deter me from my excitement. Finland has been my goal, my dream for nearly 3 years and to be this close gives me such butterflies. England has been an amazing learning experience and I've been so blessed to have lived here, but ya know that feeling when it's time to move on? Yeah, it hit me a couple months ago! So it's right to wave good bye to this island and head north to be planted in a place where I hope to bloom.  I'm just finishing up my cup of tea so that means I better wrap up this post. There is a change on the horizon, a new adventure to be taken, it will be hard to sleep tonight as my dreams of the future will only get my heart more pumped! ;)

What I'm listening to:
To calm me down a bit I'm listening to the amazing death melodic band Insomnium. Gorgeous, haunting sounds filled with passion and beautifully bleak lyrics. Other bands I can't stop listening to is Within Temptation's new album. Look it up. Listen to it. And be moved into another world full of color and hope. Sharon Den Adel really is one of my vocal heros.

What I'm reading:
And since my life has flipped upside down over the last two months (in a good way) I have actually had time to read/breath. I'm conquering the book Abarat by Clive Barker. It's a pleasant read. Nothing earth shattering, but very sweetly written. Cheers dear ones!
