Suit Case

Oh it's here! The trees are sprinkled with color, the air is crispy sweet, and my sweater is out from the bottom of my suitcase. Hello Autumn. I've missed you. Life is a beautiful frenzy at the moment. In the middle of my dream-like time in Finland I went back to the States for a wee bit. Yeah. God likes to keep me on my toes! Well now I'm back in Finland after a short time away and it was a splendid return. I really missed it. Usally when I leave a place I don't think of it for a while, but being away from Helsinki my thoughts often drifted back to it and now I see how my heart is really attached to this place. I'm in Tampere Finland for a week or so and it's so exciting seeing more of the country. I get to travel to a few different spots and it's helping gain not only a better perspective of this country, but I'm getting to understand, to know it on a deeper, specialer way. Being North the Fall is coming quicker and it's been quite rainy/chilly which I just love. Good thinking weather. I've wanted nothing more than just to sit, drink some tea, and think. I feel invigorated by the clouds and color. My spirit stirs over the splendor Suomi holds, both in it's nature and people. So much to explore and discover. I've been here just over a month and I only got 2 left, but I want to turn every rock over and see the sights.
So it's not cheap living in this fine country and to keep costs down I basically hop from one open bed to the next. I love visiting the homes of the gracious people who don't mind putting me up for a week(s). I haven't unpacked in almost 2 months and it's such a exciting feeling, I'm kinda a hobo!
But let me tell you my friends, being a hobo isn't all fun and games! Sometimes I do get a bit disoriented or lonely. Yet there is a wonderful cure! I always have my music to make me feel at home.

What I'm listening to:

Amelie is a beautiful movie about a beautiful girl. To assist this story there is beautiful music. The French got it right on this one. Majestic movements and sweet sounds firmly hold this score. There is a perfected gentleness that the piano carries in this film. Listen and escape.

Ensiferum. Folk metal at it's best. I caught a show back in march by these fellas and was really touched by their musicianship and energy. They revisit times of old in their songs by creating haunting sounds with traditional instruments and writing story-like lyrics. Gripping and fearless they present a strong front of talented, heroic, and passionate metalheads. If your up for a rocking jig check 'em out! Enjoy and continue to dance dear ones!
